Outfitting: Beautiful Bows

Yesterday I went for something that might be the start of a very different higher education path for me. I shall share the details when I feel more secure about the venture but in the mean while I can tell you this: I had to be there at 7:15 am on Saturday morning, and I had to be dressed ‘smart casual’. Now, if ever there was a moment of dress to impress, it was this!

And this is what I wore to impress people who may turn out to be very good for me.

I refer to this bag as Audrey. I talk to Audrey. Audrey does not go on the floor. I love Audrey.

I folded up my blazer and my jeans…folded up bottoms are very in, apparently.

I folded up the jeans just so that my ankles are visible. Too much folding = cheap looking. Plus I tied a bow in my hair… I felt the whole look was a bit formal and grown up, so I needed the bow just to make it a bit quirky.I felt really cool in my outfit yesterday, and I had such a great day.

Enjoy what’s left of your Sunday evening.
